Trying electoral protests
IN THE PHILIPPINES, it is often said that no one really loses in elections. The guy who fails to get proclaimed a winner almost inevitably declares that he was cheated. So, it seems, it’s either one cheats, or one is cheated.
It may all seem amusing, considering the number of government agencies that actually have jurisdiction over electoral protest cases.
