Social Media, the form we have today is an emergence in our complex society. Individuals in a society basically and mainly interact through communications. They communicate with each other through the medium in which they believe they can influence other elements the most in the society where they belong. This communication and interactions lead to an emergent behavior that nobody can, in reality. predict.
I still want to see people communicating than keeping silent. People may have informational constraint and form opinions unfounded in facts, but it is better to know what others think or feel than guessing what each other’s brain holds for certain issues in our midst. It is a matter of listening, not hearing. It’s a matter of listening to other voices, and not only what one wants to hear.
