Genuino’s phone calls

Ho hum. And the drama of Pinoy politics continues like a badly scripted soap opera. And we all know how soap operas end their lifecycles — when all the characters become wackos.

The way things are going, it looks like the soap opera that is the Philippines is in the stages when producers are already in the process of cancelling the show. 😀

Then a new one will be put on the air. Same plot, different characters, and same hollow-headed audience.

pinoy soap operas and dramas? or fantaseryes? actually there is no more decent pinoy soap nowadays… because nobody’s making them anymore. its all but fantaseryes… the soap are being handled now by the koreans with much thicker and fast-paced plots. 😉

O Benign0, you sounded like having a fiesta with such carefree commentaries: Cinema and Pagcor? How about the Party-list? 😉

MY OPINION ON THE PGMA IMPEACHMENT ISSUE

Dear Readers:

In this opinion of mine, I initially requests the readers to open their minds.

The decision made by the Justice Committee-NOT ACCEPTING THE AMENDED IMPEACHMENT COMPLAINT ON THE BASIS OF THE “ONE-YEAR BAN LAW” is UNREASONABLE, NOT RIGHT AND THEREFORE SHOULD NOT PREVAIL.

I believe there is WRONG INTERPRETATION/APPLICATION OF THE LAW. The Justice Committee’s interpretation (that the approval of the first impeachment complaint, bars the approval of any other subsequent complaint) CAN BE USED AS A TRICK (PROTECTION) BY OTHER IMPEACHABLE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS.

It is simply because, any impeachable official can secretly pay and ask any complainant to file a weak complaint against him/her, as well as pay and ask any endorser to endorse the weak complaint. Then later, if that complaint is dismissed, that official is afforded a shield against any kind of impeachment within one year.

Simple lang ang sinasabi ko. Sa Tagalog (or Filipino) language-
Kung nais ng isang opisyal na hindi ma-impeach sa loob ng isang taon, gagamit lamang siya ng isang bayarang complainant at isang bayarang endorser upang maghain ng isang mahinang reklamo. At kapag na-dismiss ang mahinang reklamo, yahhhooooo! Ligtas na siya sa kahit anong reklamo laban sa kanya sa lood ng isang taon.

NAKAKATAKOT PO! MARAMING OPISYAL NA MAGKAKALAKAS NG LOOB MAGNAKAW, MAGSINUNGALING AT MANDAYA!

Kung papayagan lang po ng ating mga Kongresista na makaakyat ang reklamong amended complaint sa Senado, sa palagay ko, maraming opisyal ang magiging tapat sa kanilang mga tungkulin sa bayan at maraming matatakot magnakaw, magsinungaling at mandaya sa eleksyon.

Yung mga hindi pumirmang Kongresista, palagay ko may utang na loob kay PGMA at may malaking offer. Dapat ding imbestigahan at hainan ng reklamo ang mga ito ngayon o sa susunod pang mga araw.

sana nga tama ka roberto. natatakot lang ako na pagdating ng june 26,2006, isang katutak na tao ang pipila sa kongreso at sa pagpatak ng june 27, 12am, ay lalabas ang secretary general ng congress at sasabihing meron ng nakapag file ng impeachment compalint, i-e-endorse na rin ni alagad ( NI GLORIA) representative Marcoleta kinabukasan…maghihintay nanaman ba tayo uli sa susunod na taon? Baka tapos na ang termino ni gloria eh wala pang impeachment complaint na natutuloy. NAKAKATAWA NAMAN ANG PILIPINO!

KAPIT TUKO SI GLORIA sa pwesto. She’s very manipulative, pati ang sambayanang pilipino niloloko pa rin niya. Dapat pa ba siyang paniwalaan? Una sabi niya, hindi siya tatakbo sa eleksyon ng 2004, only to change her mind later on, pangalawa sabi niya tumigil na ang tumitira sa kanya at dalhin sa proper forum (impeachment nga sa kongreso), only to do everything she can to bribe congressmen to vote against it….Ngayon sabi niya mag reconcile daw… BAKIT???

i believe that in order for the philippines to progress is to totally change politicians. i dont think there is a problem in the form of government, i think the problem is in the people of the government. I go for a care taker government of about 2 years…clean the COMELEC, make rules so that the executive, the legislative and the judiciary are really ndependent of each other.AT the present set-up, how can you call these thre branches independent when they still would need the approval of the executive for projects support in case of the legislative, and for the judiciary, bakit president ang mag-aappoint sa kanila. what the hell the president knows about the judicial system…let it come from their ranks. AT bakit ba naman kasi kailangan ng mga kongresista ng pera para magpagawa na tulay at kalye? diba dapat pag gawa lang ng batas ang inaatupag nila? leave the infrastructure to the public works ang highways or the local executive.

Then call for an election… but the electorate should be educated not to vote for the trapo politicians (trapo does not necessarily mean matanda na, trapo means people who still adhere to the same old political practices). huwag din sana magpabayad ang botante.

the bottom line is….KUNG GUSTO TALAGA NG PAGBABAGO, PWEDE NAMAN EH….IF ONLY WE HAVE LEADERS WHO HAVE THE POLITICAL WILL AND ARE REALLY THERE TO SERVE THE PEOPLE AND THE COUNTRY.
