The kids come out for Cory

Among the multitudes who lined the stretch from the Manila Cathedral to the Manila Memorial Park for former President Corazon Aquino’s funeral were young children, in the arms or on the shoulders of their parents, some even flashing the ‘Laban’ sign. They will probably have vague memories of the event, but hopefully they will take the time to find out what Cory meant for their country and carry on her fight for freedom and democracy.
