Coalition urges the members of the 15th Congress to adopt and refile the version of the bill that the bicameral conference committee of the 14th Congress had passed, in order to save both time and resources and to assure the speedy passage of the Freedom of Information Act.

Just as important, the statement exhorts President Benigno S. Aquino III and his deputies to even now observe an active policy of disclosure in all its decision, appointments, transactions, contracts, borrowing and spending.
