Maguindanao docu airs tonight

The Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism is proud to announce the airing tonight of Maguindanao: The Quest for Justice, a 35-minute documentary on the two year long search for justice by families of the victims of the Maguindanao Massacre.

The documentary will be shown at 9:55 p.m. on GMAnewstv, available through UHF or through your cable subscriber.

The Maguindanao documentary is the first of a six-part documentary series produced by the PCIJ on media murders in the Philippines. The documentary series will be aired every Saturday, 9:55 p.m., until December 17 2011.

The other documentary segments will deal with the cases of murdered journalists Herson Hinolan, Marlene Esperat, as well as with survivor Alberto Martinez.

Capping the documentary series is the safety training video Staying Alive, to be aired on December 17.
