PCIJ’s photo and podcast exhibit

“EDSA 20/20,” an exhibit of photographs and podcasts commemorating the 20th anniversary of people power, will run from Feb. 15-26 at the Glorietta I at the Ayala Center in Makati.

edsa20.jpgMounted by the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ), the exhibit will feature portraits of 20 people who played key roles in the Edsa revolt or whose lives were profoundly affected by the fall of Marcos. The portraits are by photographer Lilen Uy.

The exhibit will also feature podcasts containing the PCIJ’s no-holds-barred interviews with Corazon Aquino, Imelda Marcos, Fidel Ramos, Juan Ponce Enrile and Gregorio Honasan. Also featured are interviews with the likes of Bernabe Buscayno or Kumander Dante, newspaper publisher Eugenia Apostol, songwriter Jim Paredes and several others whose lives changed after Edsa.

The interviews are featured in the PCIJ’s bimonthly magazine, the i Report, available in newsstands and bookstores while the podcasts can also be heard over the PCIJ Channel.

The exhibit will formally open at 6 p.m. on Feb. 16. It was made possible with support from Ayala Land, Metrobank Foundation, Microwarehouse, Epson Philippines, Toucan Corp. and Centrex Corp. Admission is free.
