‘Tyranny of the majority’
BELOW is the statement of the Black & White Movement on the impeachment proceedings at the House of Representatives:
The Black & White Movement condemns in the strongest possible terms the tyranny of the majority in thwarting the truth in the ongoing impeachment proceedings by the Justice Committee in Congress. Especially in the light of new revelations about the possible conspiracy attending the filing of the Lozano complaint, we believe that it is in the interest of the Filipino people, that the truth behind this serious allegation be established first, before making a decision on which complaint to officially consider.
We express our unwavering support to the Congressmen who have risen above partisan politics to stand for the truth. Given the manner by which Chairman Datumanong, with the complicity of the majority, was going to force the vote without due deliberation, we respect their decision to
walk out of the proceedings and to desist from participating in a process that is now clearly turning out to be a sham.
We call upon the undecided Congressmen to affix your signatures to the impeachment complaint to send it to the Senate posthaste and let due process take its natural course. History will judge you kindly if you take this bold and heroic step in favor of the Filipino people.
We declare our unequivocal admiration and support for the Hyatt 10 for their moral courage in defense of the truth and we share their aspirations for a leadership founded on high moral standards, truth, and justice. We commend their timely disclosure of relevant information that will shed light to our people’s continuing quest for the truth.
We call upon the sovereign Filipino people to ACT NOW to preserve the future of our children. Let us be one in conveying to our Representatives in Congress that we will not sit idly by as they prostitute the very process intended to thresh out the truth. Let us together flood them with text, email, and fax messages expressing our indignation over the blatant and arrogant ways at suppressing the truth. Let us all gather at the Batasan starting tomorrow to show our commitment for the truth.
The issues in this political crisis are as clear as Black and White. Let there be no doubt that we will fight for it.

Suppression of the truth is the game plan. The power of money makes a TYRANNY OF THE MAJORITY. I believe this is a MURDER OF THE TRUTH.
Congratulations to all the ANTI-IMPEACHMENT. May you rest in peace.
Congratulations to GMA because you got what you want. You can now go to the UN with smile in your face.
The constitution has been interpreted wrongly…so be it. I hope Father Bernas is still right in his interpretation of the constitution but he was outvoted by the great, magnificent, super-intelligent congressmen.
To the Filipino people, you have now the freedom to make your own judgment. Sorry to all of us who are looking for the truth. The game is over.

The people, upon which souvereignty resides, will make the final judgement. We’ll see if they would take Congress’ definition of justice sitting down.

So sad…our own country is already going to the dogs, i mean, to the majority congressmen who are only loyal to Malacanang (not the Filipino people).
And these congressmen will continue doing what they think would be beneficial to them if we, ordinary Filipinos, would not remind them that they are supposed to represent us (not themselves)
The impeachment process was just a moro moro, and take note they were spending P100,000 a day for the hearing……pera na pinagpaguran ng mga mamamayan.

Wala akong ganang mag-comment…..nahihilo pa rin ako sa mga pangyayari. Eto nalang mga kababayan ko. Patay na talaga ang demokrasya. Wala na talaga tayong pag-asa. Sana magising na yung mga nag-bubulag-bulagan. Niloloko na tayong nang harapan. Wag nalang tayo mag-bayad ng buwis para mawalan na ng suweldo yang mga manloloko sa gobyerno at kongreso. Para naman maramdaman nila yung hirap na dinaranas ng sambayanang Pilipino.

Tyranny of the majority- nuon pa yan sa canvassing pa ng sEelection 2004! Praktisado na ang mga ulupong sa katataas ng kanilang mga kamay na mistulang me mga namamagang pigsa sa kilikili na tanging si Gloria ang makakagamot sa kanila!
Pwede ring paramihan ng mga gago’t bobo laban sa mga matatalino’t me puso, eh ang kaso mas marami ang gago’t bobo kaya lagi silang wagi dahil sa panlalamang. Wala yang legal legal o moral moral na usapan, moro-moro oo pa. Kung makakatulong ang teknikalidad, hala bira sila, banat mistulang mag mukhang tanga at isumpa sila sa sambayanan. Kala naman nila nagago nila tao,kala nila mangmang tayo- eh ang balik ng tao sa kanila ay mga sumpa at mura, di man tumalab sa kanila ngayon, tatalab din yun sa mga salinlahi nila!
Kayong mga lolong nagpahamak sa amin, komo mga mandaraya rin kayo, kung okay lang sa inyo ang MANDARAYANG PRESIDENTE, MAGNANAKAW NA LIDER, SINUNGALING NA PANGULO sa mga matitinong tao, HINDI YAN OKAY! Sa anumang paraan, sa anumang tsansa, kahit konting pagkakataon MAKUKUNSUMI o MAWAWALA sa hulog si Gloria, sasamantalahin namin. IT IS TRUE THAT THERE WAS A CONSPIRACY OF THE MAJORITY but i think they are just doing what is good for this country. Sometimes its really hard to find ways in doing what is good for this country that you might choose the wrong way but you will find out later that what you do now is the very least mistake that you could ever done.
In this case it is very visible where we are going at in case They will not kill the impeachment. They will tackle the so called ellection fraud which will never end. That’s how himpocrite the opposition are! that say that they are for the people but they do not give attention to the REAL PROBLEM OF THIS COUNTRY. THEY MUST PASS THE ANTI TERROSIM BILL IMMEDIATELY.
The oil price is uncontrolable getting up which they do not pay attention and never consider specially NENE PIMENTEL who is very adamant for his revenge for the administration. I NEVER HEARD PIMENTEL PROPOSING alternative solution to the problem.
THERE ECONOMIC LAWS are very important specially now that we FEEL the pain of our stomach because we do not eat regularly now. Instead of buying food you have to save your money for other things like education and fare for jeep. What about other people who does not have job. Is there goal worth fighting for?
I THINK THERE IS MUCH MUCH MUCH TO DO THAN BICKERING!
i pray that the food for the people is much important than bickering and never ending politics to our politician.

if a law is vague, it can be interpreted either way but if a law is clear it cannot be debated…..subjectivty has no place. Black is black while white is white. it cannot be that black can be white while white cannot be viewed as black. what transpired in our congress (lower house) was the victory of the motivated hallucinating tongressmen. simply put, to them, 1+1 = 3. even if the correct minority tells us 2 is the answer, its not correct to conclude that the majority who saw it 3 as the correct answer was right. what is right is that there is a wrong conclusion to what has transpired in congress-AND THAT IS THE REALITY! but, natural laws has its own way of putting everything back to equilibrium.
the only question that lies ahead is WHEN.
