Two more witnesses took the witness stand to present documentary evidence to
show that Chief Justice Renato Corona and his wife owned properties
in Ayala and Global City, Taguig that were not in his statements of assets liabilities and net worth.

Makati Registrar of Deeds Atty. Constante Caluya, Jr. presented
documents on the sale and transfer of a condominium unit at The
Columns in Ayala to Cristina Corona, wife of the Chief Justice.

Ayala Land’s Senior Vice President Aniceto Bisnar, Jr. likewise
testified that the Corona couple both issued checks in payment for
Unit 1902 of the Spanish Bay Tower at the Bonifacio Ridge Condominium
in Taguig.

Bisnar added that the Spanish Bay Tower unit was acquired by the
Coronas for P9.1M in October 2005 on cash basis paid in two
installement terms.

On cross-examination by the Defense, however, Bisnar admitted that he
did not have, nor had he seen any document proving that the said unit
had actually been turned over to the Coronas at the time or
immediately after the payments were made.

The Defense tried to establish that the witness did not have any
knowledge on when the condominium unit in question became a property
of the Coronas nor when they were declared in their SALNs.
